If you'd rather a big AMD card like an R9 270 and up you'll need a new PSU but it may be necessary either way. You may need to check into getting a shorter edition card to fit the X51 case they're out there, just don't buy an 'M' (laptop) version. A 960 will run everything at medium settings for a few years, it's a good value middle range card. No AMD card is going to run on 300 watts, but a GTX 960 might. Your I3 will bottleneck some games but it's still a decent CPU, so begin with your graphics, as a DDR3 card won't do any good. Long story short an I7 and GTX 970 will almost certainly max out next year's games apart from resolutions over 1080p. ![]() Not that there's a chance in hell any game from Bethesda will be that well optimised, but on the other hand a powerful PC can only brute force so much inept coding. ![]() Compare the Witcher 3, a very demanding game with very reasonable specs that people have got running on below minimum CPU and GPU. I seriously think both the above poster (no offense) and Bethesda are exaggerating Fallout 4's specs.
